Built in 1971, the Rhein-Neckar-Stadion belong to the 1949th` s Bundesliga winner, VfR Mannheim 1896 e.V. Playing in the sixth division now, the stadium with all its assets belongs to a much higher playing class. The dressing rooms are currently being renovated.
